Terms of Service for EFLassistant.com

General Terms:
EFLassistant.com provides an AI-powered chatbot designed to assist students of English language schools with their studies. The AI assistant is intended solely as a supportive educational tool.

Subscription and Billing:
Our service operates on a subscription-based model. Charges are applied automatically to the provided credit or debit card at the end of each monthly billing period. It is the client’s responsibility to maintain accurate and current card information for successful billing.

Subscription Plans:

  • Pro Plan: Includes up to 10,000 AI-generated answers per month.
  • Business Plan: Includes up to 70,000 AI-generated answers per month.

Both subscription plans include a 30-day free trial period. The trial can be canceled at any time without charge. Upon completion of the trial period, the client will be automatically charged the agreed subscription fee.

AI Assistant Accuracy and Liability:
EFLassistant.com cannot be held responsible or liable for errors or inaccuracies generated by the AI assistant. The AI assistant is retrained every two weeks provided that new training information has been supplied by the client. In the absence of new training data, retraining will not occur.

Our AI assistant is trained using school-specific data provided by the client. This data may include website links and a single PDF or Word document. Clients may update and send this document up to twice per month for retraining purposes. All relevant information must be included in the same file.

EFLassistant.com uses several of the latest models of ChatGPT to power the AI assistant. While these models are highly advanced, we cannot guarantee their accuracy and are not responsible for any errors, misinterpretations, or unintended responses generated by the AI.

Cancellation Policy:
Clients may cancel their subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, access to the service remains active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds or partial refunds will be issued for cancellations made during an active billing cycle.

Clients may cancel their subscription directly through the My Account page or by sending an email request to support@eflassistant.com.

Service Integration and Installation:
Our service can be integrated either through a custom subdomain hosted on our servers (e.g., www.yourschool.eflassistant.com) or directly embedded within your existing website via provided iframe code. Installation of the iframe code on the client’s website is the sole responsibility of the client. EFLassistant.com is unable to perform installations or insert code into clients’ websites.

Daily Chat Log Reporting:
All chat logs between the AI assistant and users will be compiled and sent to the client via email in PDF format daily.

Support:
For any support or assistance, clients must submit requests via email to support@eflassistant.com.

By subscribing to and using the EFLassistant.com service, clients agree to all the terms outlined above.

Onboarding Terms for EFL Assistant Chatbot

Upon confirmation of payment for the EFL Assistant chatbot service, the client will receive an onboarding Word document via email. This document is to be completed with accurate and relevant school-specific information, such as:

  • General school details (name, contact info, location)

  • Class times and schedules

  • Key policies, FAQs, or student support details

  • Any important links (e.g., school website, student portal)

Clients are responsible for completing and returning this document to us as soon as possible.

Once the completed document is received, our team will begin the chatbot setup process. The AI assistant will be trained and deployed within 48 hours of receiving the completed onboarding document.

Timely submission of the document is essential to avoid delays in activation.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Clients may cancel their subscription to EFL Assistant at any time through the My Account page on our website. Alternatively, a cancellation request may be submitted by emailing support@eflassistant.com.

Once a subscription is cancelled, the service will remain active until the end of the current billing period. During this time, clients will continue to have full access to their AI assistant.

Please note that no refunds will be issued for payments made for the current billing cycle, regardless of when the cancellation occurs. All charges are final once a billing period has begun.

We encourage clients to make full use of their remaining subscription time before the service is deactivated at the end of the billing period.
